Leah, her mom and big brother came into my photo studio last week for her newborn photos. I love the colors her mom chose for their clothes. The different shades of pinks and creams photographed beautifully! I love doing family photos during newborn sessions. I love getting to see everyone interact with their newest family member. You can tell they adore their sweet new baby.

Parents often worry about how older siblings are going to do for photo sessions. We always have so much fun, getting great sibling photos is never really a problem. With 3 boys of my own, I know how important it is for older siblings to feel involved. I love photographing siblings and their new baby’s! Leah is so lucky to have such a great big brother. He clearly loves her already.

Leah did absolutely amazing. She did great for wrapped photos and posed photos. She really did it all! I absolutely love photographing newborns. I love helping parents capture all the tiny details. The small things are hard to remember but a photograph can bring you right back to that moment in time.

Newborn and Sibling Photos | You Belong Among Wildflowers

Welcome to the newborn photo studio sweet little Ivy!

Ivy recently came into my Loveland newborn photo studio for her newborn photos. She was absolutely amazing for me! From blanket poses to the family poses, she was relaxed and sleepy through it all. Not to mention she was so, so smiley!

Fun Fact: Ivy was the first newborn girl I’ve had in my Loveland studio. Not just that, she broke my streak of 11 newborn boys in a row without a girl.

Newborns Change So Fast

If you are a parent, then you already know, babies change so much in so little time. It is simultaneously amazing and hard to watch. You really only get to have a newborn for about 2 months. Photographing babies during this time means so much to me. I want parents to be able to look at their baby’s photos and remember what it felt like to hold that sweet little baby.

I love photographing families with their new baby. There is just something special about creating the first family photos for parents. It never gets old. Seeing parents interact with their new baby is so sweet to watch. You should have seen how sweet and cooperative Ivy’s big brother and big sister were for the photos. They made it so easy for me to get the cutest sibling photos.

June is Pride Month

I am honored to have been able to photograph this sweet boy for his moms. When we were standing in my studio trying to figure out what outfits Parker should wear, we were all drawn to these little grey overalls and my little rainbow pants. Since June is Pride month, we wanted to add a splash of rainbow to Parker’s photos. But who doesn’t love the little grey overalls? We ultimately decided we should do both! I’m so glad we did both outfits.

Theodore recently came into my newborn photo studio for his first photos. I had so much fun with him! He let me do all of the fun stuff. From blanket poses to the bed prop, he seemed to love it all. He even gave me a sweet little smile in one photo!

NoCo Newborn Photo Studio | Tiniest Hockey Fan

Recently, Maverick came into my NoCo Newborn Photo Studio. We had the best time! It was so much fun trying out new creative poses with the props his parents brought in.

When your dad likes to play hockey, you are destined to love it too. Maverick’s parents had a lot of great props and ideas. I love when parents bring in really fun props. It really gives the photoshoot a completely unique look.

Tiny Outfits for Tiny Humans

My newborn client closet is full of the cutest little outfits. Every newborn gets to do 1 maybe 2 outfits as well as wrapped poses. Maverick’s Parents chose these really cute overalls and a tiny bunny outfit for a few photos. Isn’t he so cute?

Jenson and his family came into my photo studio last week for his newborn photos. I love the colors his family chose for their clothes. The different shades of blue, pink and creams photographed beautifully! I love doing family photos during newborn sessions. I love getting to see everyone interact with their newest family member. You could tell instantly how excited everyone was to have Jenson join the family.

Fun Fact: Jenson was the first newborn I photographed when my Loveland, CO photo studio first opened! My photo studio is now located in its forever home in Windsor, CO.

With 3 boys of my own, I know how important it is for older siblings to feel involved. I love coming up with ways for them to “help” and have fun. I love photographing siblings and their new baby’s! Jenson is so lucky to have these two for his siblings and friends! They adore him. His big sister was always ready to help and wanted to know when it would be her turn to take photos with her new brother. So so sweet.

Megan Grove Photography- Loveland Newborn Photo Studio Grand Opening

I am going to be celebrating the Grand Opening for my Loveland photo studio the whole month of April 2022.

I am so excited to announce that $50 from every session scheduled during April will go to one of 3 amazing local baby/family charities.

The sessions do not have to take place in April; however, the contract must be signed, and nonrefundable deposit paid before session can be put on the schedule. I know this sounds a little confusing so I’m going to put it another way. Even if your baby is due in July, if you schedule your session now (April 2022) $50 of your deposit will be donated to one of these charities. There were so many charities to choose from but ultimately Nestled in the NICU, Stork Support of Northern Colorado and 3 Hopeful Hearts are the 3 you will get to choose between.

Let me tell you more about each of these amazing groups.

Nestled in the NICU

Nestled in the NICU started out offering support and care packages but has grown into something much more than that. They provide a community for families experiencing a NICU stay and for years to follow. I know several of my families that I photograph, have personal relationships with this group and love what they offer families. Stork Support of Northern Colorado

Stork Support of Northern Colorado is a nonprofit organization providing essential maternity, postpartum and baby needs to under-resourced families in Northern Colorado. The amazing people that run this organization gather and give out items to moms in need. 3Hopeful Hearts

3Hopeful Hearts provides support to families who have experienced the tragic loss of a baby or child. They offer support groups for families grieving as well as events like Camp Braveheart and 3Hopeful Hears Walk to Remember. While looking through their website, I notice they even have a group for miscarriage and pregnancy after loss. I thought I would mention this here because so many of the families I photograph have experienced miscarriages, even mine. I would have found 3Hopeful Hearts helpful if I would have known about them a few years ago. Fort Collins Newborn Photography | Triplet Newborn Photography

Welcome to the newborn photo studio Jaxson, Peyton and Naomi!

This sweet trio recently came into my newborn photo studio for their first photos. I had so much fun with them! Photographing 3 babies at one time is as tricky as you would imagine but it was so much fun!

Keeping Everyone Safe

Although I have photographed several sets of twins, this was my first time photographing triplets. The most important part of every newborn session is keeping the baby safe. When you have 3 newborns at one time, you need to use an extra level of caution. I knew I would need an extra set of hands(or two). Two of my amazing friends came to help! Bri and Jessica, I couldn’t have done it without you! I feel like I should add, several other people volunteered to come also. I had to keep it to only two helpers because my old Fort Collins photos studio was a little on the small side.

One of my favorite parts of every newborn session is the family photos. There is just something special about creating the first family photos for parents. It never gets old. Seeing parents interact with their new baby (or in this case babies) is so sweet to watch. It was fun to see both parents could hold all three babies at once.
